3-Mile Long Island Iced Tea
A potent variation of the classic Long Island Iced Tea. This recipe combines five white spirits in a tall glass, uniquely balancing the mix with a generous pour of cola and a finishing touch of sweet and sour mix and bitters.
What it tastes like
The drink has a heavy aroma of cola and citrus with a faint botanical undertone. It feels carbonated and dense on the palate, where sweet caramel and tart lemon flavors mostly hide the sharp presence of multiple spirits. The finish is long and sugary, marked by a slight medicinal spice from the bitters.

Substitutions
- Sweet and SourFresh lemon juice and simple syrup — This swap provides a cleaner, sharper acidity and removes the chemical aftertaste of bottled mixes.
- Coca-ColaIced Tea — Using unsweetened tea makes the drink much drier and emphasizes the herbal notes of the gin.
- Triple SecGrand Marnier — This adds a deeper orange flavor and more body due to its brandy base.
- VodkaWhite Whiskey — This replacement adds a grainy, raw spirit character that stands up better against the cola.

Adios Motherfucker
Swap the Triple Sec for Blue Curaçao and the cola for lemon-lime soda to achieve a bright blue color and a candy-like citrus taste.
