Abbey Cocktail

Abbey Cocktail cocktail

A sophisticated classic from the golden age of cocktails, the Abbey combines the botanical crispness of dry gin with the brightness of fresh orange juice and aromatic bitters. A close relative to the Bronx cocktail, it serves as a refreshing apéritif.

Ingredients

How to Make It

  1. Chill a martini glass in the freezer or by filling it with ice water.
  2. Combine the gin, orange bitters, and fresh orange juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  3. Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds until the outside of the shaker feels frosted.
