Aloha Fruit Punch
A vibrant, tropical party punch that balances sweet guava and pineapple notes with a zesty homemade ginger infusion. Ideally suited for large gatherings, this refreshing non-alcoholic cooler offers a complex flavor profile through a custom simple syrup base.
Ingredients
- 2 OZ Water (for ginger infusion)
- 2 TSP Fresh Ginger Root (chopped)
- 16 OZ Guava Juice
- 1.5 TBSP Lemon Juice
- 28 OZ Pineapple Juice
- 1 ML Sugar
- 4 OZ Water (for syrup)
- 1.5 ML Pineapple Chunks
How to Make It
- In a small saucepan, combine 2 oz of water with the ginger root. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes.
- Strain the ginger liquid to remove solids and set the infused water aside.
- In a separate pot, create a rich syrup by combining the sugar with the remaining 4 oz of water. Heat gently until the sugar is completely dissolved, then allow to cool.
- In a large punch bowl or pitcher, combine the guava juice, lemon juice, and pineapple juice.
- Stir in the reserved ginger infusion and the cooled sugar syrup.
- Add the fresh pineapple chunks to the mixture.
- Refrigerate the punch until thoroughly chilled before serving over ice.
