Baby Guinness
A whimsical novelty shot that perfectly mimics the visual appearance of a tiny pint of Guinness stout. Despite the name, this delicious digestif contains no beer; instead, it features a base of rich coffee liqueur topped with a floated layer of Irish cream, delivering a sweet, creamy, and coffee-forward flavor profile.
What it tastes like
The aroma consists of roasted coffee and caramelized sugar. The mouthfeel is thick and syrupy, tasting primarily of sweetened espresso and dairy. The finish leaves a coating of dark chocolate and vanilla on the tongue.

Substitutions
- KahluaTia Maria — Tia Maria is less syrupy and offers a more pronounced vanilla and real coffee bitterness.
- Baileys Irish CreamRumChata — This swap introduces cinnamon and rice-milk notes while maintaining the creamy visual of the shot.
- Baileys Irish CreamHeavy cream — Using unsweetened cream reduces the overall sugar content and removes the alcohol from the top layer.
- KahluaCazcabel Coffee Tequila — This provides a drier, more earthy coffee profile and increases the alcohol content.
Variations
Mocha Guinness
Add a small amount of chocolate liqueur to the Kahlua base for a more dessert-like profile.
The Nutty Stout
Substitute the Baileys with Frangelico or another hazelnut cream liqueur to add a toasted nut flavor.
