Bacardi Cocktail

A pre-Prohibition classic, the Bacardi Cocktail is essentially a traditional Daiquiri modified with a splash of grenadine. This addition lends the drink a distinctive rose-pink hue and a subtle layer of pomegranate sweetness that balances the tart lime and crisp rum.

Ingredients

• 1.75 OZ Bacardi Light Rum
• 1 OZ Fresh Lime Juice
• 0.5 TSP Sugar Syrup
• 1 DASH Grenadine

How to Make It

1. Chill a cocktail glass in the freezer or by filling it with ice water.
2. Combine the Bacardi Light Rum, fresh lime juice, sugar syrup, and grenadine in a cocktail shaker.
3. Fill the shaker with ice cubes.
4. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosted.
5. Strain the mixture into the chilled glass.
6. Serve immediately.
