Boston Sour
A refined variation of the classic Whiskey Sour, distinguished by the addition of egg white which provides a rich, silky texture and a frothy head. This cocktail perfectly balances the warmth of blended whiskey with the tartness of fresh lemon and the sweetness of powdered sugar.
Ingredients
- 2 OZ Blended whiskey
- 0.5 OZ Lemon juice
- 1 TSP Powdered sugar
- 1 WHOLE Egg white
- 1 SLICE Lemon
- 1 WHOLE Cherry
How to Make It
- Combine the blended whiskey, lemon juice, powdered sugar, and egg white in a cocktail shaker.
- Add cracked ice to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously for at least 15 seconds to emulsify the egg white and chill the drink.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled sour glass.
- Garnish with a slice of lemon and top with a cherry before serving.
