Clover Club
A sophisticated pre-Prohibition classic originating from Philadelphia. This cocktail balances the botanical notes of gin with tart lemon and sweet grenadine, while the egg white provides a luxurious, silky mouthfeel and a signature frothy head.
Ingredients
- 1.5 OZ Gin
- 2 TSP Grenadine
- 0.5 OZ Lemon Juice
- 1 WHOLE Egg White
How to Make It
- Add the gin, grenadine, lemon juice, and egg white into a cocktail shaker.
- Perform a dry shake (shake without ice) vigorously for 15 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
- Open the shaker and add ice cubes.
- Shake again vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosty.
- Double strain into a chilled glass.
