Clover Club cocktail

A sophisticated pre-Prohibition classic originating from Philadelphia. This cocktail balances the botanical notes of gin with tart lemon and sweet grenadine, while the egg white provides a luxurious, silky mouthfeel and a signature frothy head.

How to Make It

  1. Add the gin, grenadine, lemon juice, and egg white into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Perform a dry shake (shake without ice) vigorously for 15 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
  3. Open the shaker and add ice cubes.
  4. Shake again vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosty.
  5. Double strain into a chilled glass.
