Diesel
A popular variation of the classic Snakebite, the Diesel combines equal parts lager and hard cider with a splash of blackcurrant cordial. This addition transforms the drink into a dark, stout-colored beverage with a fruity, refreshing finish.
What it tastes like
The aroma is a mix of toasted grain and fermented apple with a faint berry undertone. On the palate, the tartness of the cider balances the malty lager while the cordial adds a concentrated sugary weight. The mouthfeel is carbonated and medium-bodied with a slightly syrupy finish. It leaves a lingering tart berry and dry malt aftertaste.
