French Negroni
A sophisticated, softer riff on the classic Italian Negroni. By replacing the bitter Campari with Lillet, this variation offers a floral and aromatic profile that perfectly complements the botanicals of the gin and the richness of the sweet vermouth.
Ingredients
- 1 OZ Gin
- 1 OZ Lillet
- 1 OZ Sweet Vermouth
- 1 WHOLE Orange Peel
How to Make It
- Fill a mixing glass or shaker tin with fresh ice.
- Pour the Gin, Lillet, and Sweet Vermouth over the ice.
- Using a bar spoon, stir gently for 40 to 45 revolutions to ensure the drink is thoroughly chilled and properly diluted.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled Martini glass.
- Twist the orange peel over the drink to release its oils and drop it in as a garnish.
