Hot Chocolate to Die for
An incredibly decadent and rich cocoa experience, this recipe melts fine chocolate with a touch of butter and vanilla before blending with creamy half-and-half. It results in a thick, velvety drinking chocolate perfect for winter indulgence.
Ingredients
- 12 OZ Fine Chocolate
- 1 TSP Butter
- 0.5 TSP Vanilla Extract
- 1 ML Half-and-half
- 1 ML Mini Marshmallows
How to Make It
- Prepare a double boiler over medium-low heat.
- Add the fine chocolate, butter, and vanilla extract into the top bowl of the double boiler.
- Stir consistently until the mixture melts and becomes just smooth.
- Slowly stir in the half-and-half until fully incorporated and heated through.
- Pour the mixture into a coffee mug.
- Top generously with mini marshmallows and serve immediately.
