Ingredients
- 2 WHOLE Fresh Ginger Root
- 1 ML Water
- 1 ML Lemons
- 1 ML Sugar
- 2 ML Cayenne Pepper
How to Make It
- Juice the lemons and set the liquid aside.
- Peel and grate the fresh ginger roots.
- Place the grated ginger and the cayenne pepper into a piece of cheesecloth and tie it securely into a knot.
- Submerge the cheesecloth bag in the gallon of water and allow it to soak for approximately 15 minutes to infuse the flavor.
- Remove the spice bag.
- Stir in the sugar and the reserved lemon juice until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Chill the mixture thoroughly in the refrigerator.
- Serve cold over ice.
