Miami Vice
A visually striking tropical cocktail that combines two frozen classics: the Piña Colada and the Strawberry Daiquiri. This potent version utilizes high-proof rum and is served layered for a distinct red and white appearance.
Ingredients
- 5 OZ Bacardi 151 Proof Rum
- 4 OZ Piña Colada Mix
- 4 OZ Strawberry Daiquiri Mix
- 2 ML Ice
How to Make It
- In a blender, combine 2.5 oz of the Bacardi 151 rum, the Piña Colada mix, and 1 cup of ice.
- Blend on high until the mixture reaches a smooth, frozen slush consistency, then set aside.
- Rinse the blender container thoroughly.
- Combine the remaining 2.5 oz of rum, the Daiquiri mix, and the remaining 1 cup of ice in the blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour the frozen Piña Colada mixture into the bottom of the glass.
- Carefully pour the frozen Daiquiri mixture on top, ensuring the distinct layers do not mix together.
