How to Make It

  1. Add the port, light cream, powdered sugar, and whole egg into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Perform a dry shake (shake vigorously without ice) for about 10 seconds to emulsify the egg.
  3. Add ice to the shaker and shake again until well-chilled and frothy.
  4. Strain carefully into a chilled sour glass.
  5. Garnish by sprinkling freshly grated nutmeg over the foam.
