Rum Toddy
A refreshing, chilled variation of the classic toddy. Unlike the traditional hot version, this recipe highlights the spirit's character by lightly sweetening it with dissolved powdered sugar and chilling it over a single ice cube. A lemon twist adds the perfect aromatic finish.
Ingredients
- 2 OZ Light or Dark Rum
- 2 TSP Powdered Sugar
- 2 TSP Water
- 1 ML Ice Cube
- 1 WHOLE Lemon Peel Twist
How to Make It
- In an Old-Fashioned glass, combine the powdered sugar and water.
- Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Pour in the rum.
- Add one large ice cube to the glass.
- Stir gently to chill and combine.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon peel and serve immediately.
