Scotch Sour
A robust twist on the classic sour cocktail, replacing bourbon with the smoky depth of Scotch whisky. The tartness of fresh lime and a touch of powdered sugar create a perfectly balanced, sophisticated sipper.
Ingredients
- 1.5 OZ Scotch Whisky
- 0.5 WHOLE Lime (Juiced)
- 0.5 TSP Powdered Sugar
- 0.5 SLICE Lemon
- 1 WHOLE Maraschino Cherry
How to Make It
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Pour in the Scotch whisky, squeeze in the juice from half a lime, and add the powdered sugar.
- Shake vigorously until the mixture is well chilled and the sugar has dissolved.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled sour glass.
- Garnish with a half slice of lemon and top with a maraschino cherry.
- Serve immediately.
