Zorbatini
A spirited Greek variation of the classic Vodka Martini, the Zorbatini replaces dry vermouth with Ouzo, introducing distinct anise notes to the crisp vodka base. Named in homage to the exuberant spirit of Zorba the Greek, this cocktail offers a distinct Mediterranean twist.
What it tastes like
The drink opens with a strong aroma of anise and black liquorice from the ouzo. On the palate, the neutral vodka allows the herbal and medicinal notes to dominate, followed by a silky and slightly oily mouthfeel. The finish is short and clean, ending with a savory, salty note from the green olive.
